However, not long after, the network unveiled a fresh animated series with a strikingly different feel. Haha, You Clowns proved to be sweet and soothing, evoking a animated take of a laid-back talk show. A Major Commitment
In mid-December, the network made a major announcement: Haha, You Clowns has been renewed for a further two seasons. This gives creator Joe Cappa a massive runway to expand upon the story of the Campbell family. The series focuses on three well-mannered teenage brothers whose central trait is their profound affection for their widowed father, with Cappa portraying for all four central characters.

In the same announcement commendation from Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen, who called the series as "radically heartfelt and oddly captivating." He shouted out the fans who found the show and supported its peculiarly charming sensibility.

“We're stuck in a cycle of irony that we can't get ourselves out of,” noted Cappa. “It's like we have to know we’re the smartest person in the room when we're watching stuff. I feel like we've been doing this for a decade, and we just have to laugh at something different now. It's time for comedy to grow.”
